The aim of this Olympiad game is to develop : 

This Olympiad game helps children develop motor coordination, concentration and aim. It also encourages perseverance, healthy competition and the development of social skills. Children learn respect for rules and fair play, while building their self-esteem.

  • Throwing an object stimulates fine and gross motor coordination, enabling children to improve their precision and strength.
  • Children learn to persevere in order to improve their performance with each attempt and aim for a better score.
  • Children learn the importance of fair play and respect for the rules by not entering the playing area during throws and by respecting the supervisor's decisions.
  • By successfully hitting targets and accumulating points, children develop confidence in themselves and their abilities.

Rules of the game - OBJECT THROWING

Object throwing is an Olympiad game. The aim of the game is to win as many points as possible by reaching the furthest target.

Players' roles : 

Launcher - stands behind the line and throws an object to score points.

Before the start of the game, four coloured zones, marked out with studs, are laid out on the playing area.

On a signal from the supervisor, the player throws his object as far as possible into a coloured zone.

  • 1 point is awarded if the object lands in the the white zone.
  • 2 points are awarded if the object lands in the the green zone.
  • 3 points are awarded if the object lands in the the blue zone.
  • 4 points are awarded if the object lands in the the red zone.

After three attempts, the best score will be retained.

Players are not allowed to enter the playing area while an object is being thrown.

The referee notes the points as they are scored on the refereeing sheet.
