Understanding your child under 6 better

Essentially, activities must be offered in the form of play. Everything must be fun. Activities are more concerned with psychomotor learning.

Understanding your child under 6 better

ITS NATURE: Children under 6 years of age

They're generally still clumsy, but they're gradually learning the moves.

The aim is not to achieve a good final result, but to develop the child's skills.

It's therefore preferable to vary the activities, so that there's not too much repetition; the child's attention span is short, as he often takes refuge in dreams and the imaginary.

It's advisable to offer them plenty of games, and to put them in active situations of discovery (for appropriate learning).

At this age, they have a strong need for identification: a piece of jewelry, a piece of clothing, an attitude, a thought.

Surrounding people and parents are role models for children.
