Simple emergencies
5/5
1st aid in case of injury
Some sports require protective equipment.
Equipment is also an important element in injury prevention during sport. It allows you to protect yourself and avoid any risk of injury.
SIMPLE WOUND
- Wash hands with soap and water.
- Clean the wound and surrounding area from the inside out, lather, rinse and dry.
- Disinfect with antiseptic solution and sterile compresses.
- If necessary, cover with a bandage and leave to air as much as possible.
NOSEBLEED
- Have the child sit with head bent forward.
- Blow nose, compress bleeding nostril with finger for 10 minutes, watch in hand.
- Never lay the victim down, never tilt the head back (risk of vomiting and clot formation).
HEAT STROKE AND SUNSTROKE
- Cool or shade, undress, cool with water-soaked cloths
- Take the temperature and adapt the treatment accordingly.
- In the event of minor injuries (wounds, bites, burns, etc.), remember to double-check your tetanus vaccination.
