The aim of the game?

  •  Guiding the blind by the sound of his voice
  •  Move around blindfolded and retrieve an object

In pairs, the blind must find their scarf and follow the guide's voice, then bring the scarf back to the starting line.

The guide will show him the way to get to the scarf as quickly as possible.

The guide is not allowed to pass the studs in front of him, and guides the blind person by voice.

Make several pairs and duplicate the course as many times as you can (depending on your equipment). To avoid waiting too long for the other children.

Faites-les passer dans chacun des rôles Guide <-> aveugle.

Sit the children down and open a discussion (question)

  1. What was the most difficult part?
  2. The easiest?
  3. Which role did you prefer?
  4. How did you feel about the role of the blind man?
  5. How did you feel about the role of guide?

Variants :

  • Competition: The 1st pair to bring their scarf back to the starting line wins a point.
  • Add obstacles
    • Corridor (stud)
    • Slalom (plot)
    • Tunnel
  • If children are in difficulty :
    • The guide accompanies the blind person along the route, either by voice or by holding his or her arm.
